What I know for sure

There's a few things that I've learned so far in life. It doesn't matter what other people think about you, it doesn't matter if you don't think you're not good at something, and your age doesn't matter. There's different beliefs and lifestyles we hold and live. That is not for anyone else, except for ourselves alone.

Here's a few things that I know for sure.

~ The first is that no matter how you look, how much you weigh, etc it's okay to still want and crave to FEEL healthy, to FEEL confident in your own skin, and to FEEL beautiful.

I've been told countless times that I'll never understand what it's like to be overweight and to be on a journey to lose weight. I've been told that no one cares what I have to say about being healthy. I've been told that some things, including my business, will just never work out. I've been asked how I could possibly want to exercise if I'm so skinny.

BUT...

There's a lot of crap in all these stories.

No, I may honestly never know or understand what it's like to be on a weight loss journey. However, I DO KNOW what it's like to be on a journey to actually WANT to FEEL healthy, to FEEL confident in my own skin, and to LOVE my body. There have been so many times within the past few years that I have not felt confident in my own skin, times where I felt so gross about my body, and times where I just felt so unhealthy, including right in this very moment. That's real. So I know exactly what that feels like.

There are tons of women (and men) in my audience who love everything that I have to say, so for me to actually believe the comments that no one cares about what I have to say wouldn't serve anyone, especially myself.

No, I don't believe in "diets", to have the weight loss surgery, and anything else that's super restrictive. I don't believe in restrictions, nor do I believe in taking the easy way out. Again, this is my beliefs and opinions.

~ Secondly, I strongly believe in creating a healthy, whole lifestyle through holistic foods, holistic living - to me that also means aromatherapy, herbal remedies, natural organic foods, natural and gentle cleaning & beauty products, and things that God created for us.

To some, I come across that I'm specifically telling people to give up modern medicine. That's not my place to do that because everyone can choose for themselves how they want to live.

No, I will never tell my clients to give up modern medicine. My purpose is to share my journey with you and support you, but never to tell you what to believe in.

~ Thirdly, there has been much debate about New Age and religion and I have even dealt confrontation and judgement of what I personally believe in.

What I know for sure is that you can call yourself religious or spiritual- whichever you want. Me, I call myself spiritual, BUT I am a devout Christian who also practices Reiki. You can read this blog post HERE to find out why I call myself spiritual instead of religious.

I am not here to judge, that's not my job or anyone else's job to judge anyone. That's God's job. I personally learned and have received Reiki through a Christian perspective. My boyfriend's pastor and many other pastors I know practice and accept Reiki.

I believe it's all perception. PLUS I believe everything can be brought back to God. I sometimes read books and follow people who are considered "New Age" because I love to learn, I love to see what others believe. So honestly, yes, I absolutely adore Gabrielle Bernstein, I've read part of ACIM, and several other "New Age" authors - BUT yet again, I always bring it back to God and see the information from a Christian standpoint.

But if we look at ALL religions and spiritual beliefs around the world, everyone is trying to accomplish the same/similar goals. Being a good person and getting into heaven. And if everyone had the same exact belief system, the world would be kind of boring. Gross, I know.

I know that our beliefs is what makes us who we are. It's what makes us unique.

So here's a recap of what I know for sure...

1. Everyone has their own journey and it's okay to WANT to FEEL healthy, confident, and loving your body no matter your age, weight, etc.

2. Creating a healthy lifestyle is very possible through holistic living and through the resources that God has given us through Mother Earth.

3. You can be a Christian and still want to learn more, even if that includes what most consider the "New Age" movement.

I've posted on social media and also on my blog things I knew would not upset people. I've deleted posts because someone got offended. But that's not my job to just tip-toe around people's feelings. If you're here for true, authentic, life changing information and to be on this raw journey with me then stick around. If you get offended or triggered by everything I share with you, darling it's ok to not read my posts. And I say this with massive amounts of love.
