Don't Be A Gossip Girl

Ok, I'm not talking about the show Gossip Girl (honestly I've never seen it #guiltyascharged).

What I'm talking about is the nasty GOSSIP word. Rumors, lies, etc.

In a small town, rumors spread. I grew up in a small town and now live in another small town. It's bound to happen. Maybe people don't have enough to keep them busy, I don't know. But it seems like some people tend to gossip and spread rumors like wildfire more than others. And typically it's the same people digging their noses into places it shouldn't be.

I was asked today "Why do people do that?"

My response:

A. To be nosey and get involved in a situation they have no right to be involved in since is doesn't affect them.

B. Because they want something to talk about and think that they "know" the facts as to what's going on in someone else's life.

C. Ultimately, I don't know why people enjoy spreading rumors.

Like the rumors being spread are completely inaccurate and complete opposite of what the truth is. And of course it's about my family matters. It's annoying sh*t that happens in many small towns.

I don't pay attention to the rumors. I don't get involved with gossip. I don't like lies. Rumors, gossip, and lies are wayyyyy below me, below my vibration, below who I am. I don't have time for that. I'm literally changing the world, not focused on small town petty gossip.

My advice for you? Don't feed the rumors. Don't pass on the gossip. Don't believe everything you hear- the lies. Know your facts first. Stand in truth because when you stand in truth, in your truth, the truth will set you free. AND make yourself emotionally and energetically unavailable for the gossip, for the rumors, and for the lies.

So don't be a gossip girl, darling.
