With cold and flu season upon us and the cold snowy days of winter in the near future, it's time to really pay attention to what we are fueling our bodies with.
Let's automatically set the intention to taking care of ourselves!
Below is my favorite go to drink recipe that I'll have in the morning when I wake up, I'll drink this throughout the day, and when I'm starting to get sick.
Ultimate Wake-Up Cleanse
Large glass or bottle of water. 32 oz bottle is preferred for this recipe! (Preferably a reusable water bottle, especially so you can refill it with water throughout the day!)
- 2-4 tbsp. of Raw Unpasturized Apple Cider Vinegar
- Dash of Cinnamon
- Dash of Ginger
- Dash of Turmeric
- Dash of Garlic
- Dash of Cayenne Pepper
- 1 tbsp. raw organic Honey (if you want it a little sweet!)
- 1/2 Fresh Lemon
- Optional: Mix 4 oz of coconut water for extra hydration!
Enjoy!! (I know it may seem crazy, but you’ll get used to the taste and hello to taking care of all your organs and metabolism!!)
Drink as a hot tea or in warm water!
Smile Bright Apple Bowl
1 tsp Cinnamon
Cut the apple into bite size pieces and mix together with the cinnamon. If you want to sweeten it and make it a simple delicious desert, lightly top with whipped cream! Serve and enjoy with a glass of lemon water!
